SOAPMAKING! Sunday Nov 24, 12-2pm
$15 per person, plus $10 materials fee
Hands-on milk soap making workshop! Discover the basics of cold process soap, and observe a comprehensive step-by-step soap making tutorial. You will be taking home a corresponding checklist of materials, FAQ’S, and a recipe to help you begin your own soap making success safely and effectively at home, as well as have the opportunity to take home your own mold and fresh soap from the workshop. Taught by Lydia Tevis of Harmony Heritage Farms, whose wonderful soaps we sell in-store upstairs!
Lydia (and her husband) have been farming regeneratively for 7 years in Mossyrock, WA. In her spare time, Lydia enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, gardening, and cuddling sheep.

Holiday Appetizers and Sides! Sunday Dec 1,
12-2pm $15 per person, plus $10 materials fee
Please come and join Melissa Burgess, NTP for an afternoon of whipping up some quick sides and appetizers for your holiday. We will be making roasted brussels sprouts with two sauces as an option, classic cranberry sauce with a twist, and two versions of potatoes. In addition, we will toss in a couple quick appetizers like a cheese dish and one other surprise!
This class will be hands-on and each student will go home with some goodies!
RESTORATIVE WELLNESS Recipes! Sunday Dec 8, 12-2pm $15 per person, plus $10 materials fee
Melissa Burgess, NTP is back again for an afternoon of learning some healthier options for the colder seasons. Let's start with sipping on and learning how to make some delicious healing turmeric tea. Then learn about the benefits of bone broth, what you can do with it and how quick we can instant pot it! Then we will move on to healing the body with a delicious roasted beet salad and a surprise treat at the end. Each student will go home with some goodies!

FERMENTATION! Sunday Jan 5, 12-2pm $15 per person plus $10 materials fee
This Class will cover an overview of several fermented goodies taught by locally certified Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and small acreage farmer Melissa Burgess. Learn about Kombucha, Milk Kefir, Sauerkraut, and lacto-fermented veggies. Every participant will go home with a jar of sauerkraut, some additional items, and printed materials! Please bring 2 quart or half gallon jar to take your kraut home. Two jars are better then one! You can also purchase your jars upon arriving for the class.

This class will cover everything you need to know about raising your chickens from cute little chick to egg-producing hen! If you've ever wanted to keep chickens, but aren't sure where to begin, this class will give you the info and the confidence you need to get started!

PRUNING and Holistic Management of Home Orchards and Small Fruit- Sunday Jan 19,
This class will cover basic pruning techniques for home gardeners with fruit trees and berries, and will also cover topics like soil health, holistic sprays, planting techniques, pollinization, and planning for long-term harvests.
